When visiting Salem you will want to pick up a Visitors guide and walking map. Destination Salem publishes one yearly. You can pick them up at the NPS Visitors center located on Liberty Street or the Museum Place Mall around the corner on Church Street. The guide offers you information on all there is to do, eat, shop and where to stay when you come to the witch city.

The Salem Maritime National Historic site has released self guided walking tour pod casts. Which can be downloaded here. They take you on an approximately one hour journey through the National Park Service site. The pod casts are in MP3 format and offer you a nice time seeing the sites.

The best way to get around Salem and see everything is one one of the trolley tours. There are two to Choose from Salem's oldest The Salem Trolley (Click Here) and Salem's Newest City View Trolley Tours (Click Here). Both offer a tour of everything Salem has to offer. City View Trolley's offers pick up and drop off at the Salem Ferry.

This high speed catamaran will take you to and from Salem in about 45 Minutes.
