The following is the collection of Technician  4th Grade Joseph Frank Stankiewicz of the Headquarters and Service Company 331st Engineer Construction Battalion, he served the duration of World War II. He enlisted 30 November 1942 and was deactivated 07 February 1946.

These are the medals Joseph was awarded for his service in Alaska. From left to right, Army Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign, American Campaign and World War II Victory Medal. The Good Conduct medal is not inscribed and is a slot brooch medal

 

 

 

Joseph's Honorable Discharge certificate

Upon discharge from the Army Joseph joined the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 55 in Salem. This is his post cap, it's a size 7 1/4 and dates from the 1950's or 1960's.
