Sports Collection-- Candlepin Lanes

In Salem, as in most of New England, when you want to go bowling you go "Candlepin" bowling. For those that don't know Candlepin bowling is played with cylindrically shaped pins and small balls with a maximum weight of just over a pound. In Salem until about the early to mid 1990's the place to go bowling was Candlepin Lanes on Broadway. The lanes have since been torn down and replaced with new shops. The following is the collection of memorabilia that we have.

This bowling shirt was donated by the owner. It was from when he bowled on the WCBC Pro tour out of the Caldlepin Lanes.
